Devine Review is a media firm specializing in writing, research, and copyediting for nonprofit organizations, news outlets, and academic institutions.

Founder Shane Devine is a writer from New Jersey. He grew up in the suburbs of Bergen County before attending the Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts at The New School in New York City. He began his career as a Research Assistant at the Capital Research Center think tank in Washington, D.C., where he produced Congressionally-cited reports on donor networks and private foundations, particularly for its database InfluenceWatch.

During his time in D.C., Devine completed the Writing Fellowship with America's Future, the Constitutional Fellowship with The American Conservative and Catholic University, and the Publius Fellowship with The Claremont Institute.

He went on to obtain a Master's in Philosophy from The New School for Social Research. He wrote a dissertation on Continental aesthetic theory under the supervision of Philosophy Chair James Dodd and Hans Jonas Professor of Philosophy Simon Critchley.

Devine's writing has been published in The Hedgehog Review, The Spectator, The New Criterion, SurVision, The American Conservative, and American Consequences. He also served as a co-host of The Unusual Suspects podcast with Valuetainment in Miami, Florida.

He lives with his wife Julia and their son in Waldwick, New Jersey.
